If you are one of those people who like to exercise at home then you will love Kinect Sports as you will never get bored with all the different sports you get to choose to play.
First there is Track and Field. Here there are a number of different activities including running, jumping, throwing javelins or discs. This could become a favorite!
Are you into Bowling but don’t have time to join a league or go to a bowling alley? Then why not play at home. Don’t have a bowling alley? No problem. Kinect Sports has made this sport fun to play as there aren’t any controllers or buttons to push. You just stick out your hand to pick up the ball and then swing your arm as you “release” the ball down the alley!
Like Boxing, but don’t like to hit people or get hit in return! This might not be the best of the sports on Kinect Sports. Some players have reported that the moves don’t translate accurately. However, there are still lots of other sport activities to play with this game.
How about Beach Volleyball without the beach! This one will definitely require some practice. There are several techniques that need to be learned including jumping, hitting and blocking.
Table Tennis is another great sport to play on Kinect Sports as you don’t need a controller to play. Again this game sometimes doesn’t seem to accurately translate the moves as you hit the ball. Perhaps the player just needs more practice.
Soccer is great fun to play with Kinect Sports. You don’t have to run around on a muddy field but enjoy the game in your own living room. When kicking or blocking the ball, gray directional lines will show on the screen.
Along the way, Kinect takes images and short videos of your play that you can then watch at the end of each game. Great way to assess your game play and look for ways to improve it!
With Kinect Sports you can add another player for more fun and excitement.
If you already have an Xbox or plan to buy one then adding Kinect sports well give you a great excuse to get into better shape. And have fun while doing it!
